Which Port of Entry Do Patients Use?
Patients visiting Smile Lounge cross the border at the Andrade Port of Entry, located between Yuma, Arizona and Los Algodones, Mexico.
This is the most convenient and commonly used crossing for dental care.
Border Pick up & Transportation
To make your visit as smooth as possible, we can coordinate pickup once you cross into Mexico and bring you directly to Smile Lounge Dental Retreat so you don’t get lost or feel unsure navigating the area.

For Patients Traveling
From Out of Town
Crossing Into Mexico
When entering Mexico:
Bring a valid passport (passport book or passport card).
State your reason for travel as medical or dental care.
No visa is required for short medical visits.
Most patients walk across without issue.
Returning Into
The United States
Fly or Drive into Yuma, Arizona
Cross at the Andrade Port of Entry
Walk across or arrange pickup on the Mexico side
Return the same way after treatment

Dental work completed in your mouth is not taxable.
Receipts are rarely requested but can be kept for peace of mind.
